Here you find various unique objects. Youcan't use them more than once or twice in a scenery, but the do deliver visual clues for VFR flights.
Put it into a river and rotate the texture until it fits the flow direction. You can scale it quite a bit.
Trial for rivers with a shoreline. But i have not made a corner yet.
